Winter. Always assured!
Old Man Winter has set up home in our region. But if he ever decides to take a winter break, our 110 snowmakers, 200 snow lances and 24 slope-groomers always ensure that the 150 km of ski slopes look like a beautiful white carpet rolled out all the way to the valley below. Incidentally: if you add together the total area of all of our slopes, it would be the equivalent of 285 snow-covered football pitches.
In order to enjoy the magnificent slopes, you first have to get to the top, of course. But with our 36 different ski lifts, you don’t even have to give it a second thought. Everything stays cool and relaxed, and there are no major waits, even during the high season when skiers and boarders are flocking to those snowy white peaks.
