Natrun High Rope Course

Haven’t you always wanted to be like Tarzan and Jane and swing from tree to tree or soar over the forest floor? Discover what talent hides in you and test your skills on the various challenges on our new high rope course in Maria Alm.


3 courses including a practice course and Schlawutzel-tree course for smaller children guarantee with over 40 stations, pure exhilaration and climbing fun for all. With our modern safety equipment, you can walk over rope bridges, climb on trees up to 15 meters high and overcome shaky obstacles. One of our highlights includes a 50 meter rope slide with free fall and base jump from 15 meters height.

Schlawutzel Childrens tree course
This course is free of charge and can be done without safety equipment. A trainer is present and supervises the course. The stations are only 50 – 70cm from the ground. Children from the age of 2 can attempt the course with supervision of an adult. 

Practice course by the summit station
The practice course is necessary to learn the hand grips and safety standards before attempting the high rope course. The practice course is 1-5 meters off the ground and consists of 7 stations and is supervised by a trainer. Approx. 20 minutes.

Easy Course
This course consists of 15 stations between 5 – 10 meters off the ground and is done using safety equipment. Each child is also equipped with an emergency whistle. The course is done without direct supervision however a trainer is always present in the area to assist in emergencies. Children 125cm high or 8 years of age or older can test their skills with supervision of an adult.

Adrenaline Course
The 15 stations are located near the easy course, however lead to the direction of the Natrun peak. Part of the adrenaline course is connected to the easy course. More concentration is required on the adrenaline course. Children 125cm high or 8 years of age or older can test their skills with supervision of an adult, however must have completed the easy course first.

Panorama Course
The 7 stations lead to several rope slides from the highest point of the construction and is the heart of the high rope course. The panorama view is absolutely worth the effort!

What you must bring
Sturdy shoes, comfortable outdoor clothing and a lot of courage! No previous experience is required. Equipment and instructions will be provided to you by our trainers.

Safety
We take our time to provide the highest quality of safety training. All participators are permanently attached to 2 safety ropes a pulley and 2 connection ropes which are connected to a climbing belt. Trainers are always in eye contact with the participators in case a problem or emergency occurs. All employees of the high rope course are qualified mountain and skiing instructors or high rope course attendants.

Opening Hours
Daily in conjunction with the Natrun dorfj@t cabin lift (except in stormy weather).  Training lessons commence at: 9:30am, 11:30am and 1:30pm.
